After three years in prison for drug trafficking, Erich Kessel is about to be released. However, his transition back into society is complicated by the death of his daughter and his wife's offer of a second chance. Kessel's former colleague and friend, Commissaire Mario Diller, has secured him a job as a bartender, but the temptation of a lucrative contract from Walid Schukri, a powerful crime boss and father of Kessel's daughter's murderer, threatens to derail his plans. Schukri offers Kessel 50,000 euros to find and bring him the killer of his daughter, a young dealer who was also Kessel's friend. As Kessel navigates this dangerous and illegal request, he must also contend with the watchful eye of State Prosecutor Soraya Nazari and the violent tactics of Leon Rutten, a pimp who is also connected to the crime syndicate. Will Kessel be able to resist the allure of easy money and navigate the treacherous underworld that threatens to consume him once again?
