In the mean streets of Rome, a controversial riot control unit known as the "Celerini" must confront the harsh realities of their job. Three seasoned cops and a young recruit navigate the dangerous world of soccer hooligans, public demonstrations, and immigrant evictions. As they struggle to maintain order, they must also contend with their own personal demons: a difficult divorce, a rebellious teenager, and a violent past. When one of them is critically injured in a confrontation, a manhunt ensues and the lines between protecting their fellow officers and respecting the law become increasingly blurred. Against the backdrop of escalating tensions between the police force, Ultras, immigrants, and fascists, the four men must confront their own moralities and what it truly means to be a cop.
