Aadhaar

In a small Indian village, a group of government officials arrives to promote the new resident identification cards, but the villagers are hesitant to adopt them, fearing surveillance and loss of privacy. One man, Pharsua, decides to take the plunge and becomes the first person in the village to receive the new ID card, which brings him unexpected fame and recognition. However, when a local priest predicts that the serial number on Pharsua's ID card will lead to his wife's death, he embarks on a mission to change the number, only to find that it has become an unchangeable and inviolable part of his identity. As Pharsua struggles to save his wife, he must confront the bureaucratic system and the unfairness of his ID number. Will he be able to change his fate, or will his ID number remain a constant reminder of impending doom?
