Ettore Scola har en hög lägstanivå (ursäkta sportklyschan) och detta ”two hander” drama är ett kammarspel där Sophia Loren och Marcello Mastroianni får spela ut ordentligt som två ensamma själar i en fientlig och oförstående omgivning.
