A Soldier's Love Story

A young boy named Jared finds solace in writing letters to a soldier named Vince while dealing with the aftermath of his parents' divorce. Vince, who is stationed overseas, becomes Jared's mentor and friend through their correspondence. When Vince returns to the United States, he meets Jared and his mother, Dana, and they develop a close bond. As Vince becomes Jared's baseball coach, he also begins a romantic relationship with Dana. However, their love is complicated by Vince's uncertain future as a soldier.
