We Need to Talk

In the midst of Spain's economic crisis, Nuria's life is on the upswing - she has a great job, a loving boyfriend, and supportive parents. But there's just one thing missing: the divorce papers from her depressed ex, Jorge, who's still holding on to the past. As she tries to convince him to sign the papers, Nuria's plan takes a turn when she discovers Jorge's attempted suicide. Feeling responsible, she talks to her parents, who have their own secrets, and comes up with a risky plan to get the divorce without hurting anyone. As lies pile up, the situation spins out of control, leading to a series of hilarious and unexpected events in this remarriage screwball comedy.
