1981

In 1981, an anxious 11-year-old boy named Ricardo moves to a new town with his family and tries to impress the popular kids by spinning a web of lies. He pretends to have a rich uncle, claims to have a Playboy magazine collection, and even steals a marble from a classmate's presentation to gain her attention. But as his lies get more and more complicated, Ricardo's relationships with his family and friends begin to suffer. Can he find a way to come clean and still impress the girl of his dreams?
