1618

In 1618, the Inquisition's persecution of Portuguese Jews reaches a boiling point in the city of Oporto. With his family and community in danger, António Álvares, a local merchant, must decide whether to risk everything and plan an escape, or to stay and face the deadly consequences of resisting the Inquisition's brutal tactics. As tensions rise and the stakes grow higher, the fate of an entire community hangs in the balance. Will they find a way to escape, or will they be consumed by the flames of persecution?
