"120" is a powerful war drama based on a true story. Set during the Battle of Sarikamish in 1914, the Ottoman army is in dire need of ammunition and turns to the people of Van for help. However, all the men are fighting on the frontlines, leaving the young boys of Van to take on the dangerous task of transporting ammunition to the battlefield. 120 brave boys, aged 12 to 17, volunteer for the mission, leaving their sisters and mothers behind to wait anxiously for their return. The film poignantly captures the sacrifices made by these young heroes and the impact of war on those left behind.
