Party Down - Kritiken

...finally, a sitcom revival that doesn't tarnish its original's legacy.

It's like a bunch of Judd Apatow movies had a baby with Veronica Mars, and that baby is Party Down.

...a frugal office comedy where the office changes every week, but the core elements of a great cast and tart, prankish, painfully funny writing remain evergreen.

The cleverly cast ensemble of working actors has solid chemistry, and the show is sure to appeal to fans of similarly quirky comedies.

I've spoken to many of the actors from this show, and they all told me the mandate here was just to have fun – and in that, they have succeeded.

The show could be required viewing for anyone hoping to move to Los Angeles and wanting to know what to expect; the TV version of “Take Fountain”.

The great catering-crisis comedy returns very okay.
