The Marching Band

There is no doubt that this story has a lot of warmth and heart. Unfortunately, I was never fully onboard, as it seemed to skip over some key emotional scenes throughout. This made it harder for me to truly connect with the characters. So when the emotional ending arrived, it did not hit me as deeply as I think it could have. That said, the ending was still powerful and left me with emotions to process, which is always good. I just think it had the potential to be even greater.
