With each self-contained adventure and brazenly premeditated murder, "Poker Face" stands out as an oasis in a streaming desert. 

I like how it didn’t change anything about what made the first season click and instead gave us more of it. I am totally here for that!

Season 2, by and large, is about accepting who you are, even if living your best life doesn’t mean living an easy life.

Cale is ultimately a deadpan masterpiece that only Lyonne could have come up with: a curious, empathic and extremely laid-back creation who continues to ground each outlandish case with a likeable throughline.

While it may seem odd to call a show featuring heinous crimes and strong themes "fun," Poker Face is super entertaining.
