In a world where supernatural creatures are a thing of the past, a young boy named Kitaro must navigate the challenges of growing up as the last living member of the Ghost tribe. Born in a cemetery and raised by a human father, Mizuki, and his reincarnated biological father, Medama oyaji, Kitaro must learn to find his place in a world governed by science and technology, while protecting humans from the mischievous ways of other yokai. With his unique abilities and the help of his friends, Kitaro fights for peace between humans and yokai, in this eerie yet comedic anime series.
