The Pebble and the Boy

"The Pebble and the Boy" is a coming-age-story that follows John Parker, a 19-year-old from Manchester, as he embarks on a journey to Brighton, the spiritual home of the Mods. With his father's ashes in tow and an old Lambretta scooter left to him by his father, John sets out to pay tribute to his father and discover the truth about his past. Along the way, he meets a cast of colorful characters, including Nicki, a feisty young woman who joins him on his journey. As they make their way to Brighton, they encounter various obstacles and learn more about John's father's troubled past. The film is a celebration of Mod culture and fashion, featuring music by Paul Weller and The Jam.
