In this charming adventure-comedy, a young boy named Rik Boskamp dreams of a life where he's not constantly bullied by his classmates. When his father, Paul, is offered a new job in a different town, Rik sees an opportunity to reinvent himself. Inspired by a mafia movie he saw on TV, Rik tells everyone in his new neighborhood that his father is a powerful mafia boss, hoping to earn their respect. But as his lies pile up, Rik finds himself in a precarious situation when one of his old classmates shows up unexpectedly. Will Rik's scheme come unraveled, or will he be able to keep up the act?
