Living

Living tells the story of a man who is forced to confront his own mortality and find meaning in his life after receiving a devastating medical diagnosis. Rodney Williams, a senior London County Council bureaucrat, is struggling to come to terms with the fact that he has a terminal illness and decides to take matters into his own hands. He withdraws his life savings and plans to commit suicide, but instead, he meets a writer who takes him on a night of adventure and self-discovery. Williams starts to question his life choices and decides to live life to the fullest while he still can. Along the way he meets a young woman Margaret who brings joy and vitality to his life. The film is a poignant and heartwarming story about finding meaning and purpose in life even in the face of death.
