44min - Ali and Frank attend the seminar of Dr. Barabra-Anne Whitaker, an abrasive self-help guru. But unlike the others in attendance, Ali and Frank aren’t looking to be “empowered"; they’re searching for a killer. A prisoner by the name of Desmond Harris was murdered by one of her clients, Austin Stoker. A prison guard at the time, Stoker confessed to the shooting, but claimed that Dr. Whitaker counselled him to “stand up for himself." Dr. Whitaker defends her sessions: “The Federal government trains him to kill, but somehow it’s my fault that he knows how to defend himself?” Not willing to break client confidentiality she directs Ali and Frank to her lawyer, but on the way out of the interrogation room Dr. Whitaker runs into one of her clients, Mickey. Mickey defends Dr. Whitaker, claiming their relationship is none of Cold Squad's business. Ali and Frank meet with Austin again, but this time he begins to second-guess his story. It looks like the investigation is over, until Austin ends up killing himself.
