It’s a film that swears by the golden formula of crowd-pleasing sentimentality: Let viewers laugh at the struggles and share in the triumphs.

You’d have to be totally cynical, with a heart of stone andice water in your veins, not to be even the slightest bit charmed by “OneChance.”
