As the bumbling investigators (Vladimír Pucholt and Jan Vostrčil) dig into the case, they deduce that not all is as it seems. With an array of colorful characters and a sly take on human foibles and relationships, this tragicomic farce proved to be one of the most popular Czech films of the 1960s.
