The Tortured

A married couple's life is turned upside down when their young son is kidnapped and murdered by a serial killer. Feeling betrayed by the justice system when the killer receives a plea bargain, they take matters into their own hands and capture the killer, holding him hostage in their basement where they inflict physical and psychological torture upon him. As the days pass by, the couple's actions become more and more questionable as they struggle to come to terms with their own moral justifications for their actions. Ultimately leading to a shocking revelation that challenges their perceptions of justice, revenge and the true nature of evil.
