The Resurrection of Gavin Stone

After one too many run-ins with the law, a washed-up Hollywood star finds himself fulfilling his court-ordered community service at a local megachurch. Despite having no religious affiliation, he pretends to be Christian to land the leading role of Jesus in their annual Passion Play. Through his involvement with the church, he discovers a sense of purpose and belonging that he never found in Hollywood. As he navigates his newfound faith and relationships with the church members, he must confront his past mistakes and figure out what truly matters to him. Will he find redemption and a new path in life, or will he fall back into his old ways?
