In the midst of the 1970s, a writer named Antonio Prieto escapes to a remote village in the Andalusian mountains to find solitude and inspiration for his next novel. There, he becomes entranced by the enigmatic local woman, Berta, and begins to uncover the eerie secrets surrounding the village and its supposed connection to a mystical creature known as El Vímero. As the lines between reality and fiction start to blur, Antonio's descent into the unknown leads him down a treacherous path of obsession, fear, and madness. Will he be able to uncover the truth behind the village's dark past, or will he become its next victim?
