In a post-apocalyptic America, a mysterious plague has turned most of the population into vampires, and the few remaining humans must fight for survival. Martin, a young teenager, is taken under the wing of Mister, a grizzled vampire hunter, and together they embark on a journey through the dangerous landscape, searching for a better place to live. Along the way, they meet other survivors, including a nun, a pregnant woman, and a former Marine, and together they face the challenges of the vampire-infested world.
