Kanamachi

In the movie Kanamachi, a young photojournalist named Abir witnesses a bank robbery and captures photos of the robbers, including a woman named Naina who assumes he is the culprit. Abir's friend Abhimanyu, a recent graduate, is revealed to be the leader of the opposition party and wins the election with the help of Abir and his colleagues. However, Abir soon discovers that Abhimanyu is actually a corrupt politician who made a deal with Naxalites to win the election. When Abir confronts him, Abhimanyu tries to kill him but ultimately dies in an explosion. The movie ends with Abir and Naina resigning from their jobs as journalists but ultimately deciding to cover the upcoming election.
