Children of the Salt

In the rustic village where the only means of survival is harvesting salt, two orphaned siblings, María and Enrique, struggle to come to terms with their father's death. They are burdened with the responsibility of fulfilling his final wish - to scatter his ashes in the sea. As they strive to honor his request, they inadvertently defy the traditions their father held dear. The siblings must now confront their new reality, forced to assume roles that are not theirs, and navigate the harsh realities of everyday life in a village where the salt not only preserves food but also erodes the souls of its inhabitants.
