In a future world where veganism reigns, a group of older individuals struggle with the guilt of their carnivorous past. A psychotherapist leads a support group to help them come to terms with their past choices, but they find it difficult to confront the horrors they once condoned. Meanwhile, a new technology allows young people to experience the act of eating meat, but they are unable to process the reality of what they are doing. As the film jumps back and forth between different time periods, it becomes clear that the path to a vegan society was not an easy one, and that the guilt of past generations still lingers.
