Sweet Combat is a 2018 Chinese drama series directed by Ke Han Chen. The story follows Ming Tian, a young man who grew up in poverty and has to work multiple jobs to support his younger brother and sister. Despite having no background in sports, Ming Tian decides to enroll in Zheng Ze University, a prestigious sports school, to pursue a better life. There, he meets Fang Yu, the heir of a wealthy conglomerate family who defies her family's expectations by pursuing her passion for sports. As Fang Yu trains Ming Tian in mixed martial arts, they develop a romantic relationship and navigate their way through the challenges of college life, family expectations, and personal growth. With the help of Fang Yu and their friends, Ming Tian learns to embrace his potential and becomes a skilled sportsman. The series explores themes of love, friendship, perseverance, and self-discovery in the midst of fierce competition and personal struggles.
