The World's End - Comentarios

...Easily one of the year’s best comedies, the movie thrives off the chemistry between its leads, with Pegg painting a very funny portrait of emotional paralysis and Frost demonstrating a heretofore unseen talent for intimidation.

Here is a movie that may be big budget, but has clearly avoided being plotted by committee, test-carded to within an inch of its life, or had the helpful input of anyone from accounts.

Oh, and The World's End is funny of course. Like the idiot bastard son of Morecambe & Wise and HG Wells funny.

Wright isn’t a subtle filmmaker – but he is a joyful one.

Det er som altid en fornøjelse at begive sig ind i Wright og Peggs hyldest-universer, hvor genrer genåbnes og kærligt omfavnes.

Rolig, störig och väldigt underhållande.

Roligt är det, lite som en korsning mellan Withnail och jag, Världsrymden anfaller och, eh, Baksmällan (om den vore bra) och fantastiskt brittisk indiepop-soundtrack, med Primal Screams Loaded som kongenialt utropstecken.

...är ett bra komplement till de föregående filmerna och en blivande kultklassiker som underhåller in i det sista.

Edgar Wright demonstrerer en stor og nørdet kærlighed til science fiction-genren og ikke mindst en god sans for at blande komedie med genreelementer uden at ødelægge nogen af delene.
